Piaggio Aerospace appoints Rossella Daverio as Senior Vice President of Communications
January 29, 2015: Piaggio Aerospace has appointed Ms Rossella Daverio as Senior Vice President of Communications. Ms. Daverio will be in charge of internal and external communications, brand management, media and public relations.
An Italian national, Mrs. Daverio has extensive communications experience both at home and abroad serving as Head of Communications for a range of leading industrial companies including Airbus (aircraft manufacturing), Alcatel (telecommunications) and Rhone-Poulenc (life sciences). Prior to joining Piaggio Aerospace, Ms. Daverio founded her own communications consultancy and most recently held a professorial role teaching International Marketing at the Bocconi University of Milan.
Ms. Daverio replaces Mr. Enrico Sgarbi, who served as Head of Communications of Piaggio Aerospace for nearly ten years. Mr. Sgarbi will assume his new role at the beginning of February as Head of Communications of another internationally renowned Italian group. Piaggio Aerospace’s management would like to thank him for his outstanding commitment and contribution to the company.
