Usha Padhee appointed Joint Secretary, Civil Aviation
July 1, 2015: Usha Padhee, IAS has been appointed as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Civil Aviation from the date of assumption of the charge of the post for a period of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier. She succeeds G. Asok Kumar, IAS.
Usha Padhee is a 1996-batch IAS office r of Odisha cadre. Nine Joint Secretaries, including five IAS and four officers belonging to other services, have been appointed in Central government ministries as part of the rejig, with effect from June 30, 2015.
