Gulfstream names Walter Stark Regional Vice President of Sales for Southern Europe

February 1, 2016: Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. recently named Walter Stark regional vice president of Sales for Southern Europe. He reports to Trevor Esling, Gulfstream regional senior vice president, International Sales for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Stark’s territory includes France, Spain, Portugal, Malta, Switzerland, Italy, Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia.

Prior to joining Gulfstream, Stark spent eight years at TAG Aviation, where he served as senior vice president of aircraft management and client services for Europe.

Stark’s aviation career began in 1988 at then-Pilatus Britten-Norman Ltd., where he held positions of increasing responsibility until becoming chief executive officer.

He later worked at Bombardier Aerospace as sales and marketing director for the company’s fractional jet ownership program in Europe and Asia Pacific, and served as managing director of aviation services for an investment group involved in the acquisition of regional airports in Europe.

Stark earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in modern languages from the University of Westminster in London and is fluent in English, Spanish and French. He is also a Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society and holds a private pilot’s license.

Stark is based at the Gulfstream Sales and Design Center in Mayfair, London, and joins the Europe Sales team, which consists of Matthew Sandidge, Wolfgang Schneider and Brian Jones.
