Mr. I.N. Murthy takes over as Regional Executive Director, Southern Region at Chennai

April 08, 2015: Mr. I.N. Murthy has taken over as Regional Executive Director, Southern Region at Chennai on 30.03.2015. He is a Post Graduate in M.Sc Physics (Electronics) and joined as Aerodrome Officer in August, 1995 in Civil Aviation Department, which later became Airports Authority of India and worked in different capacities across the country in Air Traffic Management, Airport Management and Aerodrome Planning. He worked in Planning Directorate at Corporate Headquarters, New Delhi for the development of Airports in Southern and Eastern Regions and is instrumental in finalising Master Plans and proposals for related activities such as land acquisition through State Govt. Prior to taking over as Regional Executive Director, he was working at Hyderabad Airport as General Manager (ATM) & Coordination-in-charge from 15th December, 2010 to 29th March, 2015, looking after Air Traffic Management and Administration at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Shamshabad, Begumpet Airport, Hyderabad, specialised Maintenance Unit, Research & Development Technical Centre, CATC-Ext.. Hyderabad and as Deputy Course Coordinator for ANSPMAM Course conducted at Begumpet Airport in collaboration with French Aviation University – ENAC.
During the course of duties, he has also undertaken various other assignments and successfully conducted International Seminars and two Air Shows i.e. Indian Aviation 2012 and Indian Aviation 2014 at Hyderabad.
