Air Marshal R.D. Mathur took over as Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief of Training Command, Indian Air Force, Bengaluru, on October 1, 2020. He was commissioned into the fighter stream in June 1982 and has flying experience of more than 5100 hours on a variety of fighter and trainer aircraft as well as on helicopters.
