Different by Design. Disruptive by Choice.

Embraer’s Praetor jets were born from this culture of pioneering invention. The word itself – Praetor – comes from the Latin root that means to go before, or to lead the way. They truly are business jets that question boundaries and challenge the convention.

Embraer has punctuated aviation history with disruptive moments of industry-leading progress and innovation. The company believes in – Challenge. Create. Outperform. This commanding philosophy was put into practice when Embraer started exploring the business aviation market in 2000 and bringing updated, 21st-century aircraft to the world of business jets.

Embraer’s Praetor jets were born from this culture of pioneering invention. The word itself – Praetor – comes from the Latin root that means to go before, or to lead the way. They truly are business jets that question boundaries and challenge the convention.

The Praetor 500 disrupts the conventional notions of what a midsize business jet can do. This industry-leading aircraft is remarkably fast with incredible range. The Praetor 500 is capable of flying nonstop from New York to L.A., Miami to Seattle, San Francisco to Gander, Singapore to Beijing, or Dubai to Bangkok. With best-in-class speed, best-in-class range, and best-in-class cabin altitude, you will save time and feel fresh on arrival. With an impressive nonstop range of 3,340 nm (6,186 km) and maximum endurance of nearly eight hours, it is the only aircraft in its class – the fastest, too – that can reach Europe from the US west coast in one stop. The Praetor 500 can operate from runways as short as 3,000 feet which gives you direct access to many more destinations, more experiences and more opportunities.

The super-midsize Praetor 600 delivers a nonstop range of 4,018 nm (7,441 km) at long-range cruise speed. In this intercontinental aircraft, you can fly non-stop from continent to continent. The Praetor 600 will take you from London to New York and back again, São Paulo to Miami or Dubai to London. This aircraft can operate from a runway as short as 3,000 feet and gives you direct access to many more destinations.

TECHNOLOGY PERFECTED

Revolutionary, industry-leading technology combined with superior flight deck ergonomics make this aircraft a dream to fly and provides an instinctive interface between pilot and aircraft for a safer, easier flight. It features a Synthetic Vision System to see what the human eyes can’t discern for safer takeoff, landing and in-flight operations. Enhanced Vision and Head-Up Display (HUD) extends situational awareness. The Praetor jets use the full fly-by-wire with sidestick controls which reduces pilot workload and provides a safer, smoother flight experience with easier maintenance than manual flight controls. The Praetor 600 is equipped with the quietest and most efficient engines in the market, along with new technology for lower emissions.

FUNCTIONALITY AND COMFORT

Superior craftsmanship and meticulous attention to detail are evident throughout the elegantly conceived six-foot-tall flat-floor cabin – from the fully reclining design of the seats with full berthing capability to their optimal placement beside spacious windows. Matched with high-tech connectivity and a comfortable cabin altitude, the Praetor’s Bossa Nova interior design has been perfected to suit your needs. The jet also offers the most generous baggage compartment in its segment and a practical amount of internal storage space.

TECHNOLOGY OF THE FUTURE

Wi-Fi connectivity that is strong and reliable, just like home or the office. Exclusive to the category, Embraer equips the Praetor jets with the very best in connectivity: Ka-band and Gogo AVANCE L5. The aircraft’s Honeywell Ovation Select Cabin Management Suite provides full 1080P HD video streaming and immersive audio. Unique to Embraer business jets, the upper technology panel with touchscreen puts flight status information, ambient lighting and access to cabin controls directly at your fingertips.

PERFECT LAUNCH

During the Embraer’s 50th anniversary at NBAA 2018, Embraer Executive Jets introduced the Praetor 500 and 600 to the world of business aviation. The Praetor 600 was certified by the National Civil Aviation Agency of Brazil by April 2019. European and US certification were secured by May 2019. The Praetor 500 received its Brazilian type certificate in August. This was followed by the EASA and FAA approval by the end of September in 2019.

FIRST DELIVERY

Embraer announced the first delivery of its new Praetor 600 supermidsize business jet to an undisclosed European customer in June 2019. The delivery ceremony was held at the company’s production facility in São José dos Campos, Brazil, where the first Praetor 600 rolled off the hybrid assembly line that also produces the Legacy 450 and Legacy 500. Assembly of the Praetor 600 will soon also occur at Embraer’s production facility in Melbourne, Florida, where the company has produced more than 360 Phenom and Legacy aircraft since 2011.

“We are thrilled to deliver the first Praetor 600 and we are confident that our customer will be fascinated with the most disruptive and technologically advanced super-midsize business jet to enter the market,” said Michael Amalfitano, President & CEO, Embraer Executive Jets. “The Praetor 600 is certain to create a new value experience for our customers and help them outperform in their business and personal endeavors.”
