Duncan Aviation recently completed a comprehensive interior refurbishment on an Embraer Legacy 600 at its Provo, Utah, facility, resulting in a clean, contemporary cabin that enhances passenger comfort while giving the aircraft a more modern, sophisticated feel.

Led by Senior Lead Designer Molly Pfeiffer, the design centered on a disciplined, geometric aesthetic. Throughout the cabin, elements were intentionally squared and streamlined, favoring crisp lines over organic shapes to create a more architectural feel.

A high-gloss black veneer serves as a focal point, featuring subtle silver streaking that adds depth and movement while maintaining a sleek, modern tone. To balance the darker cabinetry, bright white seating was selected to keep the cabin open and inviting.

"The goal was to create a space that felt intentional and refined without being overly complex," says Pfeiffer. "By focusing on clean lines, contrast, and consistent detailing, we were able to deliver a modern aesthetic that still feels comfortable and approachable."

The seating was redesigned with sharper lines and a more modern profile. Horizontal quilting, perforated inserts, and matching thread contribute to a tailored appearance, while black leather accents along the armrests add definition and tie into complementary details throughout the cabin, including the lower sidewalls.

Satin nickel plating reinforces the contemporary aesthetic, and a custom carpet with a grey and black diagonal pattern introduces visual interest without disrupting the structured design.

The updated materials and refined detailing help modernize the aircraft while creating a more inviting experience for passengers.

To maintain comfort, softer elements were thoughtfully incorporated. A fabric divan and textured grey curtains add subtle warmth while remaining consistent with the overall palette and linear design language. New window shades complete the refreshed look.

In the galley and lavatory, updated countertops and durable flooring enhance both functionality and finish. A wood grab rail, inspired by Gulfstream styling, adds symmetry and contrast within the lighter-toned cabin.

The result is a cohesive, refined interior that balances sophistication, comfort, and long-term value for the aircraft owner, demonstrating how a structured, design-forward approach can elevate the Legacy 600 platform.
