StandardAero recently completed the 1,500th Honeywell HTF7000 series engine received for major maintenance at its Augusta, GA engine service center. StandardAero is the industry's exclusive independent, OEM-authorized heavy maintenance provider for the HTF7000 turbofan engine model, and with this milestone, has performed more major HTF7000 workscope events than any other company in the industry.
The Honeywell HTF7000 engine, formerly known as the AS907, reached 10 million flight hours in 2024 from the wings of Bombardier Challenger 300/350, Cessna Citation Longitude, Embraer Legacy 450/500 and Praetor 500/600, and Gulfstream G280 aircraft. StandardAero supports each of these aircraft's engine needs from five sites world-wide, backed by over 100 technical staff.
"This milestone echoes the continued trust operators have in StandardAero for their HTF7000 engine support," Tony Brancato, president of StandardAero Engine Services – Business Aviation division said. "We've been channel partners with Honeywell for over half a century starting with the TFE731 engine, and our commitment to serving the HTF7000 customer base with expert, quality support is no different."
StandardAero became an authorized maintenance channel partner for the HTF7000 engine in 2008, with proven successful support of the platform lending to the company's expanded heavy maintenance authorization of its Augusta engine service center in 2016.
"Achievement of the 1,500th HTF7000 major service event is a testament to the customer focus the StandardAero team from both here in Augusta and around the world has for these operators," Chris Bodine, vice president and general manager of StandardAero's Augusta facility said.
"From the major overhaul service event to supplying HTF7000 rental engines or dispatching our mobile service teams, we're dedicated to serving these customers with comprehensive engine care for many years to come," Brancato said.
Due to increase in market need for HTF7000 engine support and enhancing other aircraft and engine services, StandardAero has also moved to expand its Augusta engine and aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) facility at Augusta Regional Airport (AGS).
"With the grand opening of our expanded engine shop and new aircraft service hangar coming this fall, our growth in capacity enables us to support more HTF7000 operator engines than ever before," Bodine said.
StandardAero supports the HTF7000 engine's heavy maintenance requirements from Augusta, GA, with minor level maintenance services authorized at its (Fleetlands) Gosport, UK site and around the world through its engine Mobile Service Team (MST). Line maintenance HTF7000 services are also available on-site at StandardAero's Houston, TX (IAH), Springfield, IL (SPI), West Palm Beach, FL, and Belo Horizonte, Brazil service centers.
