Bell Textron Prague and TEREM Holding Bulgaria Sign MOU to Provide Maintenance Support to the Bulgarian Air Force

Bell Textron Prague, a.s., a Textron Inc. company, announced that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with TEREM Holding Bulgaria regarding cooperation and mutual support for a fleet of six Bell 206 aircraft owned by the Bulgarian Air Force.

This MOU will enable the potential development of a solution for the Bulgarian Air Force to receive local customer service provided by TEREM, with aircraft parts and personnel support provided by Bell Textron Prague. The intended Bell support includes PART 145 maintenance services, PART 21 Engineering and Design, and, in close cooperation with TEREM Holding, heavy and complex maintenance, retrofits, modifications and upgrades, and customization of the Bulgarian Air Force's fleet of Bell 206 helicopters. The possible solution is designed to provide the Bulgarian Air Force the critical sustainment and future retrofit, modification and upgrade possibilities as well as maintenance support.

Through a state-of-the-art facility, the Bell Textron Prague team provides PART 145 maintenance services, PART 21 Engineering and Design, and performs heavy and complex maintenance, retrofits, modifications and upgrades, customization and delivery of new Bell aircraft to customers across European, Middle Eastern and African regions. The facility also provides modern paint booths that fit all Bell helicopter models or helicopters/aircraft of similar sizes. The Bell Textron Prague facility also provides component-level services and overhaul capabilities and serves as a one-stop-shop for government and commercial customers in the region.

TEREM – HOLDING EAD is a state-owned company of the Bulgarian Ministry of Defense. It specializes in repairs, modernization and logistical support of aviation equipment, ships and vessels, armored vehicles, small arms, artillery and missiles weapons, ammunition, radar, and communication equipment.
