Air France Industries KLM Engineering & Maintenance (AFI KLM E&M) and Air Corsica have signed a new multi-year agreement for the support of the airline's LEAP-1A engine fleet. The agreement covers nine LEAP-1A engines supporting Air Corsica's Airbus A320neo operations and represents an important milestone in a partnership that has spanned several decades.

Already a trusted partner for Air Corsica's CFM56-5B engine maintenance and component support across its Airbus A320ceo and A320neo fleet, AFI KLM E&M will now extend its support to the airline's new-generation LEAP-1A engines. The agreement reflects Air Corsica's continued confidence in AFI KLM E&M's engine MRO capabilities and reinforces the Group's growing position in the rapidly expanding LEAP engine support market.

By combining proven operational expertise with high-quality maintenance solutions, AFI KLM E&M will support Air Corsica in maximizing engine reliability, fleet availability and operational performance throughout the lifetime of the agreement.

Martijn de Vries, Senior Vice President Commercial at Air France Industries KLM Engineering & Maintenance, said: "We are proud to further strengthen our long-standing partnership with Air Corsica through this new LEAP-1A engine support agreement. For decades, we have worked together across multiple maintenance solutions, and extending our collaboration to their next-generation engine fleet is a significant milestone for both organizations. This agreement reflects the trust Air Corsica places in our teams, our technical expertise and our growing LEAP capabilities. We look forward to supporting their operations for many years to come."

Hervé Pierret, Member of the Management Board at Air Corsica, added: "For decades, AFI KLM E&M has been a trusted partner, supporting the reliability of our operations as our fleet has evolved. As we continue modernizing with the Airbus A320neo, extending our collaboration to include LEAP-1A engine support is a logical progression of that long-standing relationship. Having a partner that understands our operational requirements gives us confidence that we can continue delivering the high levels of reliability and service our passengers expect."

This new agreement represents the latest chapter in a long-standing relationship between AFI KLM E&M and Air Corsica. Having worked together successfully for decades across multiple maintenance products and services, the extension of the partnership to LEAP-1A engine support demonstrates the continued evolution of the collaboration and a shared commitment to operational excellence as Air Corsica modernizes its fleet.

The agreement also highlights AFI KLM E&M's expanding expertise in supporting next-generation engine platforms and its ability to deliver reliable, high-quality MRO solutions tailored to the evolving needs of airline customers worldwide.
