Aerospace leaders will gather at Aviation India Summit 2025 to examine progress and debate the next steps towards the development of India's home-grown aerospace industry.

Aviation India is delighted to announce that Dr. P. Anbalagan, Industry Secretary, Government of the State of Maharashtra, will join an esteemed panel, that features:

  • Ashwani Bhargava, Senior Director - Supply Chain Management, Boeing
  • Anurag Lohia, CEO & Founder, Lohia Aerospace Systems

The panel, titled: How leading industrialists are rising to India's aviation manufacturing challenge, is moderated by Amber Dubey, Senior Adviser, McKinsey & Company, and former Joint Secretary, Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India.

"The rapid development of India's own aerospace industry is vital for national security, economic growth, technological independence, and global influence," said Mark Pilling, Programme Director, Aviation India Summit.

"As our panel will explore, it is long known how important this is for clear strategic and economic reasons, and now the investment is happening, government support is gathering, and international players are taking notice of India and wanting to join the party," added Pilling.

The 2nd Aviation India & South Asia Summit & Exhibition 2025 takes place from 29-30 October 2025 in New Delhi's Aerocity JW Marriott Hotel.

Under the event headline: "Shaping the pathway for Indian aviation", the Summit promises to be one of the most significant gatherings of the commercial air transport community and ecosystem this year in India and builds upon the success of the launch summit in 2024 which attracted 582 delegates. It is expected the 2025 edition will attract over 800 delegates and some 50 exhibitors.

Among the senior names from India's aviation industry taking part in the Summit are Campbell Wilson, Pieter Elbers, Vinay Dube, Salil Gupte, Shri Vipin Kumar, Videh Kumar Jaipuriar and Hari Marar.

Aviation India Summit 2025 builds on the formula of the successful Times Aerospace Aviation Africa events, which began in Dubai in 2015 and have been held in Rwanda, Egypt, Nigeria, Ethiopia and South Africa.
