SATS Wins Major Industry Accolades for Best Ground Handler in Global and Asia Pacific in 2023

Bob Chi, CEO of Gateway Services at SATS accepts the award for Global Ground Handler from Vinoop Goel, Regional Director, Airports & External Relations Asia Pacific at IATA.

SATS Ltd received three major awards, including the prestigious Global Ground Handler of the Year as well as the Asia Pacific Ground Handler of the Year honour in 2023 at the 10th annual Payload Asia awards ceremony held in Singapore. SATS subsidiary Asia Airfreight Terminal (AAT) also received the Cold Chain Service Provider of the Year for Asia Pacific.

SATS Ltd took home the top honours for Global Ground Handler for the second year in a row and continues to lead ground handling services in Asia Pacific with consecutive awards over multiple years. AAT's award as Cold Chain Service Provider for Asia Pacific is a first for the company. AAT was also the first company to introduce on-airport cold chain facility at Hong Kong International Airport in 2022.

According to Payload Asia, the awards celebrate industry excellence and puts the spotlight on the most outstanding companies in the air cargo and logistics supply chain. This year's winners were determined by a combination of online industry votes and the deliberations of a panel of industry experts.
