October 6, 2026 – Air Marshal Ashutosh Dixit, presently serving as Vice Chief of the Air Staff, have been appointed as the 29th Chief of the Air Staff, in the rank of Air Chief Marshal, with effect from the afternoon of October 31, 2026. Prior to assuming charge as the Vice Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Dixit served as Chief of Integrated Defence Staff to the Chairman, Chiefs of Staff Committee (CISC) at Headquarters Integrated Defence Staff (HQ IDS) and Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Central Air Command.
September 24, 2026 – ATR’s Board Members have appointed the company’s new Chief Executive Officer, Vittorio Lorenzo Della Bella, effective November 1st, 2026. Currently President of Leonardo Helicopters US, Vittorio Lorenzo Della Bella previously served as Senior Vice-President Customer Support, Services & Training for Leonardo Helicopters. Over the course of his career, he has held senior leadership positions spanning programme management, business development, customer support and international industrial cooperation.
ATR has also appointed Patrick Bergues as Senior Vice-President Finance and Chief Financial Officer, effective November 1, 2026. Patrick Bergues joins ATR from Airbus, where he most recently served as Chief Financial Officer of Airbus in the US and Chief Financial Officer of Starlab Space.
