BIRTH OF MILITARY YEAR BOOK

Shri Sukhdeo Prasad Baranwal launched the Military Year Book, a truly pioneering publication in the realm of defence information and analysis in 1965. The Military Year Book was the first-ever effort by a non-military person to look into aspects of military and compile the information for the benefit of not just the armed forces but the global audience. Year-on-year the Military Yearbook expanded its reach not only in content but distribution too and has been lauded for its efforts by statesmen and former Prime Ministers like Lal Bahadur Shastri, Indira Gandhi and others. The list is endless.
